This year’s HSC and Equivalent Exam has been started today, Sunday (June 30) at 10 AM. Students from all over the country except Sylhet Board under Higher Secondary Board Bangladesh taken the part in the Bangla 1st Paper Exam. However, only 4 districts of the Sylhet Division has postponed due to flood.
As per the report, the HSC Examination for Sylhet Board will postponed till July 8, 2024. After that, the exam will be continue from July 9 according to the routine publisher earlier.
The information has confirmed by Dhaka Education Board chairman, Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar. He said to media that, the HSC and Equivalent Exam has started today. However, the exam has postponed in Sylhet Board. The Exam routine for the postponed 4 exams will be published soon. It is assumed that, the HSC Routine 2024 Sylhet Board will be published this week.
“According to the routine, HSC Exam will be end on August 11, 2024. The Postponed exams of the Sylhet Board will be held after August 11. As the questions for all board have already been prepared, the postponed exams for the four subjects will be conducted with the regular questions,” he added.
Earlier, the Higher Secondary Education Board has announced the exam schedule for HSC and Equivalent Exams on April 2 this year. As per the schedule, the exams are set to begin on June 30 with the first paper of Bangla (compulsory). The written exam for all board was scheduled to conclude on August 11. However, the decision has changed for Sylhet Board.
The exams in the Sylhet division were postponed until July 8 due to thee flood. The Inter-Education Board stated that the exams scheduled to start on July 9 would proceed as planned in the Sylhet division, said in a notice issued on June 27, 2024. The revised schedule for the postponed exams will be announced later.
