Islamic Arabic University (IAU) going to introduce a National Ranking System for thousands of Madrasah Institutes for Higher Education. A decision has been taken regarding this matter.
The Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the Islamic Arabic University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdur Rashid, confirmed this information to the Media. The University authority has issued a rule in this regard.
The authorities of the Islamic Arabic University state that, their initiative aims to improve the quality of madrasa education. They believe that the ranking system will help restore the tradition and reputation of the Madrasah Institutes. In addition, the initiative will also include selecting the best teachers from these institutions to rank madrasas at the district and divisional levels.
As a result, it will now be easier to determine the national and divisional standings of madrasas and religious educational institutions operating under an Islamic framework throughout the country.
The Islamic Arabic University (IAU) will provide this ranking based on the quality of education, environment, teachers, teaching methods, syllabus, results, and overall performance of the madrasas. Currently, more than 1,700 madrasas are operating under the supervision of the IAU.
