Primary School will open or shut during the holy month of Ramadan? The answer is yes, the Primary School under the Directorate of Primary Education Board in the country will open till the 10th of Ramadan.
The Senior information officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin said this information on Tuesday (March 12) at noon. The officer has confirmed the information through a Facebook Post.
Earlier, the Appellate Division upheld the High Court’s order regarding the Primary and Secondary Schools closure during Ramadan. As a result of this order, there is no issue to keep the Govt Primary Schools open for 10 days and High Schools for 15 days during Ramadan, Lawyers said.
Today (March 12), the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan gave this order. AM Amin Uddin (Attorney General) heard the state’s side in the court. And senior advocate AKM Faiz heard on behalf of the writ.
As per the report, the classes in the Primary Schools will be held from 9 AM to 3 PM. During this time, regular teaching activities will continue in government-operated Primary schools until 10 Ramadan according to this rule.
Earlier, the Primary Education Board authority published the Primary Class Routine on December 26 last year. There were 30 days of holidays during the holy month of Ramadan according to the routine.
