The Public Service Commission (PSC) has found no evidence of question leaks in any of the recruitment exams under its jurisdiction, including the BCS exams. As a result, the exams in question will not be canceled.
Multiple reliable sources within the PSC confirmed this information today Wednesday (September 11).
Earlier, the private television channel Channel 24 aired a report alleging that questions from 30 important exams, including the BCS Preliminary and Written exams, had been leaked. These allegations prompted the PSC to form a three-member investigation committee to look into the matter.
The investigation committee was led by PSC Joint Secretary Abdul Alim Khan, with PSC Director Dilawaiz Durdana and PSC Director Mohammad Azizul Haque serving as members. The committee conducted a thorough investigation based on the information and evidence available to them over an extended period.
The committee conducted a thorough investigation based on all available information and has finalized its report. The findings indicate that there was no evidence of any question leaks in any of the exams. The report will soon be submitted to the Ministry of Public Administration.
Speaking to the media on condition of anonymity, a PSC official stated, “Our investigation committee examined the allegations impartially. They consulted with the CID, NSI, examiners, and officials in charge of the exam centers. However, no proof of question leaks was found.”
The official further mentioned that since the allegations were not substantiated, there is no reason to cancel any exams. The investigation report reflects this conclusion and will be submitted to the Ministry of Public Administration shortly, after which the ministry will decide on the matter.
