National University (NU) has postponed the Honours 4th Year Exam that was scheduled to be held tomorrow, Sunday (May 26). The authority has taken this step due to Cyclone Remal.
The NU authority has issued an office order regarding the Honours 4th Year Sunday Exam. The notice was signed by Mejbah Uddin, Controller of the Examination of the University, and published on the official website today, Saturday (May 25, 2024).
“Honours 4th Year Exam 2024 under National University set to be held on Sunday (May 26, 2024) has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The new date of this examination will be announced soon, said the notice.
It is also learned that the rest of the exam will take place according to the previous routine. Students who are participating in the exam can know the new date once announced on the official website.
As per the report, the exam was scheduled to be held tomorrow, Sunday from 1 PM. However, the National University has suspended the exam officially through a press release.
Note that, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted the Remal Cyclone would hit the country on the same day of the examination. It is assumed that the National University has taken this step exam due to the Natural disaster.
