Mohammad Nahid Islam, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement coordinator, announced that an interim national government outline will be formulated within the next 24 hours. He dedicated this uprising to the martyr students and the public.
Nahid Islam made this statement at a press conference in Tejgaon, Dhaka, on Monday night. Other coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement were also present.
Additionally, the ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) announced that a curfew will be in effect from midnight tonight until 6 AM on Tuesday. This information was provided in a press release on Monday, August 5th, at 10 PM.
The ISPR stated that the curfew will be enforced from 12 AM tonight until 6 AM on Tuesday. From Tuesday morning, all government, semi-government, autonomous, semi-autonomous, private institutions, factories, schools, colleges, madrasas, and universities will remain open.
