GrameenPhone (GP) has fixed the minimum recharge amount at 30 Taka. The GP Minimum Recharge 30 Taka rules will be applicable from January 10, 2024. After that, the customer will not be able to recharge 20 Taka.
The information has been officially declared by the Telecom Operator Company. Customers are getting the notification from today (January 8, 2024) via the official SMS which is sent from “GP Info”.
It is said that the GP Minimum Recharge amount will be set at 30 Taka. The change will be rolling out from January 10, 2024. After that, the customer will not be able to recharge under 30 Taka. However, the recharge offer and scratch card under 30 Taka will remain the same.
As a result, millions of users who are currently using GrameenPhone SIM Card, they will have to recharge at least 30 Taka from January 10, 2024. But, they will enjoy the recharge offer and buy an Internet Pack or Minute Pack under 30 Taka via Scratch Card.
Those users who got the notification titled GP Minimum Recharge 30 Taka on Monday (January 8, 2024), are thinking about the other Telecom Operator Company. The other SIM Companies including Banglalink, Robi, Airtel, and Teletalk will set the new recharge amount or not.
Earlier, GrameenPhone set the Minimum Recharge amount at 20 Taka. The rules were started on July 1, 2022. The Company has increased the amount after almost one and a half years. Before that, it was 10 Taka for every SIM company.
Meanwhile, GP increased the charge for the Internet Pack on September-November 2023. After that, there is no 3 Days Validity Internet Pack. The small packages start from 29 Taka for 300 MB with validity set for 7 days.
