Bangladesh Open University has cancelled the HSC Exam officially. The authority will be published the BOU HSC Result 2024 based on the Subject Mapping System.
BOU has announced the cancellation of the HSC exams for this year. Instead, the results will be processed and published through a method known as “subject mapping.” The decision was made in accordance with instructions from the Ministry of Education, as confirmed by the university authorities.
On Monday, September 30, Acting Controller of Examinations Md. Habibullah Mahmud signed and issued a notice regarding the cancellation. The notice stated that the 2024 HSC exams were canceled due to unavoidable circumstances, and the results would be processed using subject mapping. The exact date of the result publication will be announced later.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, October 1, the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. A.B.M. Obaidul Islam, mentioned that the decision had been long pending with the Ministry of Education. However, the previous university administration did not officially announce the decision. Now, with the lack of opportunity to conduct the exams, results will be processed and published based on the Ministry’s directives.
Dr. Obaidul Islam further explained that the HSC exams at the Open University are conducted in two phases, and the results of the first part have already been published. As such, there will be no difficulty in finalizing the HSC results, which will be based on the first part’s outcome.
