Hasnat Abdullah, the coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, stated, “The boat has leaked, there is no point in finding paddles.”
On Thursday, August 15, during a full-scale sit-in program at Shahbagh, organized as part of the week-long ‘Resistance Week’ campaign, he made this comment while demanding the trial of Sheikh Hasina and pressing for four other demands.
Hasnat further emphasized, “We won’t allow the nightmare of steering the boat with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the helm to become a reality.”
