Facebook, the most popular social media platform in the world, now temporarily block in Bangladesh. The govt has temporarily stopped it’s service across the country after restarting the Internet connection. As a result, Facebook App, Lite and Messenger showing the loading icon instead showing the contents.
As per the report, million of people from all over the country unable to use Facebook and Messenger from yesterday, Tuesday (July 23). As a result, people are using VPN to use the social media platform.
Note that, Bangladesh govt shuts the Mobile internet connection almost one week ago on July 17 and Broadband Internet/WiFi Connection on July 18, restarting the connection.
The Broadband internet for Dhaka and Chittagong was restarted on Yesterday, Tuesday (July 23), and finally the authority successfully enabled the connection all over the country. However, the Mobile Internet connection is still shuts in the country.
A customer service officer from Grameenphone told to Epi Express that, “We shuts the Internet Connection as per Govt Direction. Once they allow us to restart the service, then we will enable the connection. After that, user can access the internet connection”.
