A fire that broke out at the AWR-18 building at Gulshan-1 Circle in Dhaka has been brought under control. The incident took place on the ninth floor of the 18-storey AWR Tower in Gulshan-1 today at 4:20 pm.
Three units of Fire Service and Civil Defence brought the fire under control after around half an hour. Md Rafi Al Faruque, control room duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence confirmed the information to the media.
As per the report, the fire breaks at the outdoor unit of an AC (Air conditioner) on the AWR Tower in Gulshan-1. Three units of firefighters from Tejgaon Fire Station rushed to the spot at 4:35 PM to control the fire. So far, no casualties have been reported.
