The Final Process of the Xi Class Admission 2024 for the academic year 2024-25 will end on Thursday (August 1). Interested students must complete the registration and paper submission process before the deadline.
Due to the ongoing quota reform protests, the admission process for the 2024-25 academic year for eleventh grade was postponed. This process has now resumed as of Sunday, July 28, and will continue until August 1.
Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, shared this information. He stated that selected students must complete their admission process at their respective colleges between July 28 and August 1. Classes for the new academic year will start on August 6.
The admission process originally began on July 15 and was supposed to end on July 25. However, due to the closure of educational institutions on July 18, the admission process was halted.
This year, 1,672,153 students passed the SSC and equivalent exams across 11 education boards. Additionally, about one thousand students passed after re-evaluation of their results. Despite this, there are approximately 2.5 million seats available for eleventh-grade admissions nationwide, leaving over 800,000 seats vacant even if all students enroll.
The online application for eleventh-grade admission was scheduled to start at 10 AM on May 26. However, due to server issues, the application process began a day later. Students were given until June 13 to apply in the first phase.
The first phase results were published on the night of June 23. Applications were accepted for the second phase from June 30 to July 2, and for the third phase from July 9 to July 10.
