The Directorate of Primary Education, DPE has published Primary Class Routine 2024 (Revised) for Ramadan. Primary schools all over the country will be open for the first 10 days of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
As per the new schedule, Classes in the Primary Schools will be held from 9 AM to 3 PM. During this time, regular teaching activities will continue in government-operated Primary schools until 10 Ramadan according to this rule.
The information came through an office order published on the official website of the Directorate of Primary Education. The revised class routine for primary school has been issued through a circular signed by the Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education, Shah Rezwan Hayat.
It is said that Primary School will be open till the 10 Ramadan. The classes will start at 9 AM and continue till 3 PM. It was from 9 AM to 4:15 PM in the General Routine. The Old Routine for the year 2024 be applicable after Ramadan.
New Class Routine
- Class Start Time: 9 AM
- End Time: 3 PM
Note that, the authority published the Primary Class Routine on December 26, 2023. As per this, there were 30 days of holidays during the holy month of Ramadan. However, the authority changed the routine and decided to open the school till the 10th day of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, office timings for Govt, Semi-Govt, Autonomous, and Semi-Autonomous institutions have been changed for the holy month of Ramzan. These offices will open from 9 AM and continue till 3:30 PM. But, there will be a 15-minute break from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM for Zohar prayer.
In addition, the central bank has fixed the new timing officially for bank transactions during Ramadan. Bank Transactions can be made every day (Except Friday) from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM during the month of fasting. So, Bank transactions will continue for daily five hours without interruption.
