The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) announced the Written Examination Date of the 46th BCS on Thursday. As per the schedule, the written exam will commence on August 28 and continue till September 9, 2024. Those who are going to participate are advised to collect the routine.
The authority of BPSC officially declared the exam date on Thursday (July 4). A press release has been issued in this regard on the official website. It was signed by Abdullah Al Mamun, Controller of Examination (Cadre).
As per the 46th BCS Written Exam Routine, the Exam will be held from 10:00 AM on the designated days for compulsory and post-related subjects. However, the test on mental skills will take place at 12:30 PM. The exams will be conducted simultaneously across various regions including Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh.
It is also said that detailed information on examination centers, seat plans, and important instructions will be available on the official website at www.bpsc.gov.bd. A notice will be issued in the coming weeks in this regard.
Note that, the Preliminary Examination of the 46th BCS was taken on April 26 this year. A total of 2,54,561 candidates have appeared on the test from all over the country. The Preliminary exam result was published 13 days after the exam on May 9, 2024. About 10,638 candidates reportedly qualified for the written exam.
Bangladesh Public Service Commission said in a notification that, a total of 3,140 candidates will be recruited through the 46th BCS Notification. Among them, the majority of these posts are in the health Cadre, including 1,682 assistant surgeons and 16 assistant dental surgeons.
