Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) has postponed the 45th BCS Written Exam which was scheduled to be held from August 27 to December 11. A notice was been published officially today in the afternoon in this regard.
Today (Friday, November 24), PSC has officially declared the postponed news through a press release. It was signed by Ananda Kumar Biswas, Examination Controller (Cadre) of Bangladesh Civil Service. The new date for the 45 BCS Written exam is to be published later on the official website, said on the notice.
As per the BCS Exam Routine, the Written Exam was scheduled to be held from Monday, November 27 which was published by BPSC. The exam will be continued till December 11, 2023. However, the exam has been postponed just 3 days before the exam.
BPSC will recruit a total of 2,309 cadres and 1,022 non-cadres through the 45th BCS notification. The candidates who have passed on 45th BCS Preliminary Exam, and eagerly waiting for the Written Exam, they have to wait for the new date and time.

45th BCS Written Exam Postponed Reason
Bangladesh Election Commission has announced the 12th parliamentary election. After the announcement, some candidates of the 45th BCS Written Exam wrote to the EC to change the date due to the ongoing political programs called by BNP and other political parties.
Earlier, BPSC announced the written examination date for the 45th BCS on October 25, 2023. As per the routine, the exam was supposed to be held from Monday (November 27) and continue till December 11.
Note that, the new exam date, time, and exam venue will be published in the coming week. Candidates can get the routine from the official website at bpsc.gov.bd.
