A student from Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) killed today, Thursday (July 18) in Quota Reform Movement. Shykh Aashhabul Yamin is the name of the students, who was a in Computer Science 2021 Batch.
As per the report, Shykh Aashhabul joined in the Quota Movement today. His friends shared their sad reaction on his recent post.
“Five hours ago you were live, I can’t believe your are not alive now”, his friend wrote on the comment section.
Another one wrote” You will be remembered in our heart brother. We will notify of the independence, for which you gave your life, when we join you in the future. For now rest in peace”.
Aashhabul Yamin posted the following status on Facebook about 18 hours ago:
I am a student at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). If any student from our institution is harassed, threatened, or expelled by the authorities for joining the ongoing quota reform protests, we will all boycott our academic activities indefinitely.
He also added that “On the night of July 17, the authorities unfairly forced students to leave our dormitories, which was a big safety risk for us”.
We have also decided to stop participating in all events, club activities, and sports at MIST from now on, Yamin on his status.
